Gulls Heading Into Final Stretch of NECBL Season

The summer continues to fly by, and the Newport Gulls have just two weeks left in the regular season. It's another action-packed week at Cardines Field, with four home games Gulls fans won't want to miss!

On Monday, the Gulls host the Bristol Blues for Summer Camp Scholarship Night. Newport and Bristol have played tight contests all season, so fans can expect another competitive matchup at the ballpark. Horan Building Company is giving away 250 free Newport Gulls kids' T-shirts.  Be sure to arrive early to snag one! First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. at Cardines Field. The Gulls are back at home Tuesday afternoon as the Danbury Westerners come to Newport. Newport is undefeated against Danbury this season and will look to keep that perfect record intact. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., with the game available on NECBL+ via HomeTeam Network.

Newport wraps up the homestand Wednesday night against the Mystic Schooners in a pivotal South Division matchup. The two teams are tied in the division standings, making this a must-see late-season showdown.
