The New England Collegiate Baseball League plays an eight week 41 game schedule. The League Championship is determined in early August. Each year many of our players are scouted and selected in the MLB Draft. The Major League draft started in 1965. Since 1993, over 600 NECBL players have either been drafted or signed free agent contracts. Of those, 247 are currently "in the system" at various levels including the majors. Students who wish to play in the NECBL must be:

  • Currently enrolled in College

  • Be in good academic standing

  • Have completed one year of athletic eligibility

  • Have at least one year of eligibility remaining
